When Weather Ruins the Vibe

Weather vs Regular Cancellations: There's a difference between "I don't want to party in the rain" and "this is actually unsafe."

Genuine Safety Concerns (We'll Work With You):

• Severe weather warnings issued by BOM

• Extreme wind conditions before setup

• Lightning/storm warnings

• Conditions deemed unsafe by our crew

If We Cancel for Safety:

• Full refund OR free reschedule

• We'll contact you ASAP

• Usually decided on the day or night before

• No cancellation fees

If You Cancel Due to Weather:

Before Setup Begins:

• Standard cancellation policy applies

• Unless there's an official severe weather warning

• Check BOM warnings for your area

During Your Event:

• If conditions become unsafe mid-event

• We may need to deflate and evacuate

• You've still had partial use

• No refund for remaining time

• Can't be prevented or predicted

Rescheduling for Weather:

Our Promise: If we cancel for safety, we'll:

• Find you another date within 3 months

• No rebooking fees

• Same package, same price

• Priority availability

Your Choice: If you want to reschedule due to weather forecast:

• 7+ days notice = free reschedule

• Less notice = standard cancellation fees apply

• "Might rain" isn't severe weather

The Reality Check:

Light Rain Is Usually Fine! The tent is waterproof. Most parties go ahead in light rain - it actually adds to the vibe. Don't cancel just because it might drizzle!

When to Actually Worry:

• Wind warnings (specific speeds in your safety guide)

• Severe weather warnings

• Storm cells approaching

• Our crew contacts you with concerns

What We Can't Control:

• Forecasts that are wrong

• Conditions that deteriorate during event

• "Bad vibes" weather that's not dangerous

Documentation Needed: If claiming weather cancellation:

• BOM severe weather warning screenshot

• Timestamp for your area

• Contact us with evidence

Real Talk: We want your party to be epic, not dangerous. We'll always prioritise safety, but "overcast and 40% chance of showers" doesn't qualify for a weather cancellation!
