Who’s Responsible During the Hire

Responsibility depends on the type of hire booked.

Standard Hire

• The person who made the booking is responsible

• Includes guest behaviour and rule enforcement

• Any damage caused during misuse is chargeable

Supervised Hire

• On-site crew assist with safety

• Helps enforce capacity and behaviour rules

• Responsibility for guests still ultimately sits with the hirer

Supervision reduces risk, but it doesn’t remove responsibility.

Supervised hire adds support, not liability transfer.
